Emmy-nominated producer Christina Fon (she/her) is the VP of Strategic Partnerships & Scripted Content at Shaftesbury, an award-winning creator and producer of content for television. With a wealth of experience and a remarkable career, Christina previously served as Executive Producer of the Crave/APTN/Fremantle Original series, Little Bird, now on PBS.
Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Christina is of Hungarian-Jewish heritage and is the daughter of Holocaust survivors. Over her career spanning more than two decades, Christina has made a great impact on the global entertainment industry by establishing exceptional international relationships. Her contributions have earned her several accolades, including the esteemed Sundance and Peabody Awards, multiple Canadian Screen Awards as well as a 2020 Emmy nomination.
Christina has negotiated successful production deals and orchestrated the greenlight on several projects that have marked the landscape of the global television industry and the big screen including, Mohawk Girls, now streaming on Universal NBC’s Peacock, RUMBLE: the Indians Who Rocked the World, now on Netflix and Reel Injun, now in the Academy Museum in LA. With over 27 years of experience as a media professional, Christina Fon has dedicated her career to helping creators’ tell stories that inspire, influence and entertain audiences around the world.
