Akima A. Brown (she/they) is a filmmaker, mother, caregiver, and self-proclaimed “artist-activist”. Her work of nearly twenty years spans the public and private sectors, and has centered on equity, inclusion, and access needs. She is the founder of Reel Families for Change, a non-profit committed to creating care solutions for families in film; and the Chief Principal of BTG Multimedia Group, a for-profit benefit company that aims to disrupt the accessibility pipeline for underrepresented populations in entertainment.
